Friends of Windmill Primary School

Welcome to the Friends of Windmill Primary (FOWP) page. We are a friendly group of parents and carers who are dedicated to raising funds for our school. We are very proud of our achievements to date and have been overwhelmed by the support from all the families attending the school.

This section is where you will find out who the committee members are, where the funds raised are spent and how to get in touch.

One of our biggest successes was to secure a £10,000 grant from The National Lottery Fund and also independently raised a further £2000 towards to full cost of providing sun shading canopies for the playgrounds.

One of our on-going projects is to provide the school library with books and so far we have raised well over £3000 and with your help we hope to keep this figure growing.

We have also raised £810 for our sensory and emotional support room to purchase some lovely equipment for our children’s wellbeing should they need it.

How are the funds spent?

All the money raised by FOWP is fed directly into the school.

Our current aims are to:

   •     continue raising money for the school library.

   •     contribute towards costs for school trips.

   •     provide additional back-up funds where the school need it.

   •     provide money to maintain equipment for our sensory and emotional room.

We also help out with smaller school events like providing tea, coffee and refreshments for school events and we also organise the annual school disco plus many other seasonal events too.

Get in touch
