Part of the Glyn Academies Trust

Home School Link Worker

Mrs Sarah Phillips

My role as Home School Link Worker is to offer support to parents and carers, as well as children, across the whole school in any way that I can. As the term progresses I hope to be able to offer parenting support, give advice on holiday activities, deliver workshops on learning, child development and milestones, take part in drawing & talking therapy with children and also seek your view as to what support you would like.

I am available to speak to parents and carers and offer help and support on a wide range of issues affecting family life.

If you would like to get in touch with me, or have any concerns about issues affecting your child, then please call me on 01189 029 123, email me at hslw@windmillschool.org or catch me in the playground on Monday mornings.

In my HSLW role I will be available every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 9.00 am and 2.30pm and Fridays from 11.30am to 2.30pm.  Please note I do not work on Wednesdays.

HSLW parent workshops

As part of my role as the Home School Link Worker I will be running Parent Workshops throughout the academic year.  This is a chance for parents to learn about different methods and skills we teach your children, so that you can help them with these at home.  There will also be an opportunity to look at the resources used in school and ask any questions.

The workshops will be held in a classroom and therefore there will be a maximum of 30 spaces available for each session and these will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
