GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

House System

Throughout their time at Windmill Primary School all of the children will take part in various co-operative team events including our annual Sports Day.

On joining the school your child will be allocated to one of our four house teams

EMMBROOK, LODDON, LAMBOURN and KENNET.

Siblings will always be assigned to the same team.

Our team names are based upon waterways local to our school.  The Emmbrook is a tributary of the River Loddon whereas the Lambourn is a tributary of the River Kennet.  Both the River Loddon and the River Kennet feed into the River Thames which is the longest river in England.
