Dear Parents and Carers,
Windmill’s Sports Day for Nursery and Reception Class will take place on Wednesday 17th June in the MUGA in the school playground.
Nursery and Reception will begin their races at 9.00am, finishing at 10.00am.
Children who do not have a nursery session on the morning of Sports Day are very welcome to attend with their parents or carers. At the end of the Sports Day, we kindly ask that you take your child home.
For children who usually attend that morning, at the end of their session they will return to their classrooms to continue the school day.
To make the start of Sports Day as quick and easy as possible, we would like all children to come to school wearing their full PE kit on this day. School sweatshirts will be needed if the weather is chilly. If we are lucky enough to have a sunny day, all children must have a sun hat, and a longâlasting sunscreen should be applied before the start of school.
Staff will supervise toilet trips into the school building and deal with children’s welfare needs, so you can relax and enjoy the fun as a spectator. Toilets in school will be available for parents and carers to use.
