Nursery and Reception Class - Little City UK Session

Little City Visiting Nursery and Reception Class - Wednesday 4th November 2026

We are delighted to announce that Little City will be visiting our Nursery and Reception classes on Wednesday 4th November 2026 to provide an exciting and engaging role play experience for the children.

As part of our topic, "People Who Help Us", the children will have the opportunity to explore a variety of community roles through hands-on, imaginative play. Little City creates a child-sized world where children can become firefighters, doctors, shopkeepers, builders, postal workers and many more.

What will the children gain from this experience?

Nursery Parents: If your child does not usually attend Nursery on a Wednesday, they are still warmly invited to take part in the session from 8:45am until 10:00am on the day. Your child can be dropped off for the session and collected at 10:00am. Please ensure that you complete the permission section on the ParentMail form so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £7.80 per child to cover the cost of the visit. Payment should be made via ParentMail by Monday 2nd November 2026. Please contact the school office if you experience any difficulties accessing ParentMail or making payment.

This contribution is voluntary, and neither you nor your child will be treated differently if you are unable or choose not to contribute. However, please note that without sufficient voluntary contributions, this visit may have to be cancelled, as the school is unable to fund the visit from existing budgets.

An electronic permission form for the visit must be completed by Monday 2nd November 2026, giving consent for your child to participate. The form will also ask you to:

To complete the form, please access the Forms section within your ParentMail app.

We are looking forward to welcoming Little City and sharing this exciting experience with the children. This promises to be a fun and educational event, providing the children with a memorable opportunity to learn through imaginative play and explore the important roles people have within their community.
