Year 6 SATs
In Year 6, we have been working hard over the past few weeks to prepare for and doing our SATs. The children have shown an outstanding work ethic and have enjoyed a range of revision activities to consolidate their learning: making posters to help revise
their punctuation and grammar; maths revision games on the chromebooks; and taking our learning outside to enjoy the weather.
We are now focusing on a new piece of writing: 'A guide to surviving Y6'. The children are going to take ownership of writing their own guides for future Y5 cohorts to read before they start their last year of primary school. The children's ideas have been fantastic, and I now have a list of children raring to present to our current Y5s when they finish their work.
