Non-Uniform Day for those affected by the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria
Our compassionate children held a non-uniform day today to raise money for those affected by the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria.
They had been moved by the images and news reports coming out of the disaster and wanted to do something to help the Red Cross in its aid efforts for the thousands needing help in both countries. In total they raised over £600!
Our school community continues to be saddened and shocked to hear of the loss of life and widespread damage caused by the earthquake and our thoughts, love and sympathy go to those of our families who have relatives and friends in the area.
Windmill's children feel incredibly proud of our multicultural community and the amount of money raised.
