Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Visit

Years 5 and 6 were lucky to have a visit from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue! The fire and rescue service from Wokingham talked to the children about fire safety, and both classes had a tour of the Wokingham fire engine.

We were pleased to hear that the children already had a lot of knowledge about potential causes of fires and any dangers. We also learned about procedures to follow during a fire. The children learned that the fire department do much more than tackling fires.

The children loved getting a chance to be inside a fire engine and the children also had the opportunity to try on the uniform worn by firefighters!
