Year 6 Islamic Art
In Year 6 we have enjoyed learning about the Ancient Islamic Civilisation. The children have undertaken their own mini research project on the House of Wisdom and what it was like to live in Baghdad circa 900AD. To finish their learning unit, we have explored some Islamic art: the children have drawn some Islamic tiles by hand and had a go at creating digital tiles online.
We have also created some fabulous Easter wreaths.
